Data You Give Us Directly
Search Inputs
When a visitor uses a sponsored search tool, the entered terms go to the outside provider that operates that tool. We do not maintain a Lincoln County warrant database or keep those search terms as an editorial file.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor sends a message, the message may be retained for the limited purpose of handling that communication. It is not used to create a public warrant profile.
Data We Gather Automatically
Server and analytics systems may receive technical information such as an IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, referral source, and time of access. These details help operate and measure the pages.
- Browser and device information
- Page requests and approximate visit timing
- Referral or source information
- Technical error and performance details
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files that may help measure use and remember technical settings. Browser controls can block or delete them. A blocked cookie may change how an outside search tool behaves.
What We Do With This Data
- Keep pages available and improve loading performance
- Measure which local court-information pages are useful
- Find technical errors and protect basic site operation
- Pass a visitor's sponsored-search request to the selected provider
- Support advertising and analytics functions where enabled
No Warrant Data on File
Lincoln County Warrant Records does not host, compile, sell, or maintain a private-person warrant database. It publishes general access information about New Mexico courts, the Lincoln County Sheriff, municipal courts, detention, and IPRA. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report about another person.
Third-Party Search Partners
Sponsored search boxes are operated by outside companies. Their own privacy notices govern information entered into those tools, including retention, sharing, and pricing practices. Review the provider's terms before submitting personal information. A partner result is not an official court or Sheriff confirmation.
Links to Other Websites
The pages link to New Mexico Courts, the Twelfth District, Lincoln County, municipal courts, MVD, federal courts, and other official sources. Once a visitor leaves this site, that destination's policy controls the visit. Official offices may collect information under their own rules, including New Mexico public-record law.
Advertising or analytics partners may also use their own systems for measurement. Their practices are outside this policy.
Who Might See Your Data
Information is not sold by this reference. Depending on how a visitor uses the pages, limited data may be processed by:
- Search providers handling a submitted sponsored query
- Analytics and hosting services supporting page operation
- Advertising services placing or measuring an advertisement
- A government or law-enforcement body when a valid legal demand requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable technical and administrative steps are used for the information handled here. No internet service can promise perfect security. Visitors should not submit Social Security numbers, full driver's-license data, or unnecessary warrant details to a public form or an unverified caller.
Users Under 18
The reference is intended for adults. It does not knowingly seek personal information from children under 18. If a minor's information is sent directly, it should be removed when reasonably identified.
Your Data Rights
New Mexico's Inspection of Public Records Act, NMSA 1978 Sections 14-2-1 through 14-2-12, governs public records held by New Mexico agencies. It does not turn a private website into a government records custodian. Depending on the request and applicable law, a visitor may ask what personal information is held, seek a correction, request deletion where available, or object to a particular use.
- Ask what information is associated with a direct message
- Request correction of a factual error in that message
- Ask whether deletion is available for the information supplied
- Use browser controls for cookies and similar tools
Updates to This Policy
